Tell us about your family… I’m married to a wonderful man who after 5 years of being together, still kisses me every morning before he goes to work. I have 3 beautiful children, my oldest is Kennedy, and she just became a teenager! (13 going on 30 for real), my amazing son, Cruz (pronounced cruise, and yes I had a big crush on Tom Cruise hence my inspiration), Cruz is 11 years old. My little surprise (or maybe I should say big surprise), Bailey who is age 2 will be 3 in September but already wearing 5t’s. Finally my bonus child Tristen, age 8. He is my stepson. I am very fortunate to have such great kids that challenge me daily and love me unconditionally!!
What is your favorite thing to photograph? children
What kind of music is your favorite? lately I’ve been influenced by my 13 year old daughter, so Lady Gaga, and Black Eyed Peas, and of course, new country (5 years in Texas is responsible for that acquired taste)
What is your guilty pleasure? Brownie Batter! weird I know but true!
Finally! A few weeks ago, I was privileged to host a beginner’s photography workshop in downtown Cleburne, Texas. Goodness, did we have fun!! I had the loveliest bunch of ladies who attended. They were so kind and complimentary….it was the best little group I could have asked for! After a day of talking about everything photography related, having two AMAZING photo shoots, and having a lovely little brunch at the Lemon Sisters Cafe, we were wiped out. I MUST say that our models were TOP NOTCH. You may remember my friend Tiffany that I’ve blogged about several times. (My doula friend in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.) She was kind enough to let us borrow her niece and nephew for the morning. PRECIOUS. Alicia, our vintage beauty also did a fabulous job. Thanks to Shannon for making her look like she stepped out of a 1950s movie! Also, thank you to all of our wonderful guests. We sincerely had such a great time!
